DAMASCUS, Syria – Four Iranian pilgrims were killed and 40 others wounded as a bus veered off the road near Damascus, Syria, on Friday morning.
The bus was heading to Damascus from the northwestern city of Tabriz when the driver lost control of the bus due to fatigue, the Mehr News Agency correspondent from Syria reported.
A number of the injured passengers are in a critical condition.
In a similar incident two months ago, three Iranians were killed on the road.
